VaMP
The VaMP robot car was possibly the most influential vehicle in the history of driverless cars, together with its twin vehicle VITA-2. They were the first truly autonomous cars, able to drive in heavy traffic for long distances without human intervention, using computer vision to recognize rapidly moving obstacles such as other cars, and automatically avoiding and passing them.

Der Begriff Vamp bezeichnet:im Jazz ein Ostinato; siehe Vamp (Jazz).im Film und in der Literatur den Typus einer dämonischen Verführerin. Siehe Femme fatale.Eine Gruppe von Menschen, die ihren Stil dem des Vampir nachempfunden hat. Weiße Schminke und schwarze Kleidung gehören dazu, ebenso stechend grüne Katzenaugen (oder andere skurrile Farben). Bei Fantreffen der Horrorbuch-Autorin Anne Rice trifft man häufig auf diesen Menschentypus; siehe auch Moderne Vampire.
