VHF OMNIDIRECTIONAL RANGE
Portée omnidirectionnelle VHFsystem combining ground-based and airborne equipment wich provides the magnetic bearing QDR elabored by a ground based transmitter.
two 30 Hz BF signals : a 30 Hz reference signal, which phase is dependent from the azimuth and a 30 Hz variable signal, which difference in phase with respect to the 30 Hz reference signal is equal to the azimuth of the transmitted signal.
