Pojemność życiowa - (ang. vital capacity, VC) - największa objętość powietrza, jaką można wydmuchać z płuc po wykonaniu maksymalnego wdechu. Podczas spokojnego oddychania nabieramy pewną objętość powietrza, tak zwaną objętość oddechową (TV - tidial volume). W każdym momencie możemy jednak zrobić głębszy wdech pobierając dodatkowo tak zwaną zapasową objętość wdechową (ang.IRV inspiratory reserve volume). Podobnie w trakcie spokojnego oddychania w każdej chwili możemy pogłębić wydech o tak zwaną zapasową objętość wydechową (ang. ERV expiratory reserve volume). Suma tych 3 składników (TV,ERV i IRV) stanowi pojemność życiową. Pojemność życiową określamy w trakcie wykonywania spirometrii.

È orientato soprattutto allo sviluppo e al debug di codice C++ basato sulle API di Microsoft Windows, DirectX e Microsoft .NET. Esiste sia in una versione stand-alone (Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Express Edition) che come parte dell'ambiente Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 (nelle tre versioni Standard, Professional e Team Suite).
