VASCULAR PLANT

The vascular plants (also known as tracheophytes or higher plants) are those plants that have lignified tissues for conducting water, minerals, and photosynthetic products through the plant. Vascular plants include the ferns, clubmosses, flowering plants, conifers and other gymnosperms. Scientific names for the group include Tracheophyta and Tracheobionta, but neither name is very widely used.

Le sous-règne des tracheobionta comprend les anciens embranchements des ptéridophytes (plantes à reproduction aquatique comme les fougères) et des spermaphytes (plantes à graines) lui-même divisé en gymnospermes et angiospermes (plantes à fleurs). Les caractères principaux sont l'existence de racines sauf chez les Psilophytes et la présence de vaisseaux (xylème et phloème) assurant la circulation de la sève.

Als Gefäßpflanzen (Tracheobionta, Tracheophyta etc.) werden Pflanzen (Plantae) bezeichnet, die spezialisierte Leitbündel besitzen in denen sie im Pflanzeninneren Wasser und Nährstoffe transportieren. Zu ihnen gehören die Gefäßsporenpflanzen (Pteridophyta) und die Samenpflanzen (Spermatophyta). Zwar besitzen auch manche Moose Leitbündel die funktionelle und strukturelle Übereinstimmungen mit den Leitbündeln der Gefäßpflanzen zeigen, jedoch sind die Leitbündel der Moose viel einfacher gebaut.

Rośliny naczyniowe (Tracheobionta) - podkrólestwo roślin lądowych, u których wykształciła się tkanka przewodząca wodę, tzw. tkanka naczyniowa. Tradycyjnie zaliczano do tej grupy paprotniki i rośliny nasienne. Najnowsze badania wykazały, że podział jest sztuczny, ponieważ grupy te nie są monofiletyczne, a w takim razie nie jest to takson w randze podkrólestwa, ale jedynie polifiletyczna grupa roślin wyróżnianych na podstawie podobieństw morfologicznych.

De Vaatplanten, wetenschappelijke naam Tracheobionta of Tracheophyta, zijn landplanten met een transportsysteem voor water. Het voornaamste transport vindt plaats in twee richtingen met:xyleem dat water en de daarin opgeloste mineralen naar het blad toe transporteert.floëem, dat assimilaten vanuit het blad naar de andere delen van de plant transporteert of vanuit de opslagweefsels naar de groeiende delen van de plant, zoals bij het uitlopen van een boom.
