IC power supply pin
Almost all
integrated circuits (ICs) have at least two pins which connect to the
power rails of the circuit they are installed in. These are known as the IC's power supply pins. However, the labeling of the pins varies by IC family and manufacturer. The simplest labels are V+ and V−. However, internal design and historical tradition have led to a variety of other labels being used. Also, V+ and V− may be confused with the + and − voltage inputs to ICs like
op amps.Sometimes one of the power supply pins will be referred to as
ground. In digital logic, this is nearly always the negative pin; in analog integrated circuits, it is most likely to be a pin intermediate in voltage between the most positive and most negative pins .

V (Live album)
V, originally titled Ecstatic Fanatic, is
Live's fifth album, released in 2001.Featuring the singles "
Simple Creed" and "
Overcome" (the latter of which received significant exposure following
9/11), V nonetheless reflected Live's continued commercial fall-off, reaching only #22 on the album charts at home, and failing to even reach gold, despite reasonably positive reviews. The remix of "Deep Enough," which is a hidden track on this album, was featured in the movie
The Fast and the Furious. Additionally, "
Forever May Not Be Long Enough" appears on the soundtrack to
The Mummy Returns and plays during the end credits of the movie, and "Overcome" appeared in the FX Network television show The Shield.

V+
V+ (previously known as TV Drive) is a product from
Virgin Media which provides
Personal Video Recording (PVR) and
High Definition (HD) functionality to customers who subscribe to the service. Virgin Media have taken a different approach to rival
Sky's HD service, by implementing a rental scheme for the V+
Set Top Box. When Virgin Media was launched, there was an installation charge (waived under certain circumstances) and a monthly charge of £15 for TV M and L customers or £10 for XL customers. As of the first of June, 2007, all new customers pay a £150 setup fee and then TV M and L customers must pay a £5 monthly charge for the service. TV XL customers have no extra charges, but the box is still technically on lease, still owned by Virgin Media, who will provide technical support for their STB free of charge if a problem occurs for the life of your contract. This pricing revision could be seen as a reaction to the recent changes Sky have made to the pricing of their Sky+ and Sky+HD services.
