Völuspá
Völuspá (Old Norse Voluspá, Prophecy of the Völva (Seeress); Modern Icelandic , reconstructed Old Norse ) is the first and best known poem of the Poetic Edda. It tells the story of the creation of the world and its coming end related by a völva addressing Odin. It is one of the most important primary sources for the study of Norse mythology.

Völuspá
Die Völuspá (isl.), anord. Völuspá – „Weissagung der Seherin“ (völva = Seherin + spá = Prophezeiung) – ist das erste der 16 Götterlieder des „Königsbuchs“ Codex Regius mit 63 Strophen (siehe auch: Edda). Eine leicht abweichende Version mit 57 Strophen findet sich in der Hauksbók.

Völuspá
La Völuspá - "prédiction de la voyante" ou "dit de la voyante" (<*völv-s-spá) - est un poème cosmogonique et eschatologique de la mythologie scandinave, qui fait partie du recueil de l'Edda poétique. Son auteur n'est pas connu. En un long monologue, une magicienne expose en une série de visions riches de détails l'histoire et le destin du monde, des dieux et des hommes depuis l'origine du monde jusqu'au Crépuscule des Puissances (le Ragnarok) qui verra l'avènement d'une terre nouvelle.

Völuspá
Völuspá (La profezia della veggente) è il primo e più famoso poema dell'Edda poetica.
Racconta la storia della creazione del mondo e la sua futura fine narrata da una völva o veggente che parla ad Odino. È una delle più importanti fonti primarie per lo studio della mitologia norrena.
La profezia inizia con un discorso ad Odino. La veggente inizia a narrare la storia della creazione del mondo in una forma ridotta. Spiega come abbia ottenuto la sua conoscenza, infatti conosce l'origine dell'onniscienza di Odino, ed altri segreti degli dèi di Ásgarðr. La veggente parla di avvenimenti passati e futuri, toccando la maggior parte dei miti norreni, come la morte di Baldr avvenuta per mano di Höðr, architettata con l'inganno da Loki. Alla fine racconta la fine del mondo, il Ragnarök, e la sua seconda venuta.
