Vâlcea County

Vâlcea (also spelt Vîlcea; ) is a county (judeţ) of Romania, in the historical regions of Oltenia and Muntenia (both regions are separated by the Olt river), its capital city is Râmnicu Vâlcea.

Vâlcea (dawniej Vîlcea) - okręg w południowo–zachodniej  Rumunii (Wołoszczyzna), ze stolicą w mieście Râmnicu Vâlcea. Pod względem administracyjnym, dzieli się na 2 gminy miejskie, 9 miast i 78 gmin.Okręg ma powierzchnię 5765 km² i w 2000 r. liczył 432 980 mieszkańców, gęstość zaludnienia 75/km².
