Upper Austria (German: , , Austro-Bavarian: Obaöstarreich) is one of the nine states or Bundesländer of Austria. Its capital is Linz. Upper Austria borders on Germany and the Czech Republic, as well as on the other Austrian states of Lower Austria, Styria, and Salzburg. With an area of 11,980 km² and 1.412 million inhabitants, Upper Austria is the fourth-largest Austrian state by land area and third-largest by population.

Oberösterreich ist mit einer Fläche von 11.982 km² und 1,4 Millionen Einwohnern das viertgrößte Bundesland der Republik Österreich. Es grenzt an Bayern (Deutschland), die tschechische Region Jihoceský kraj sowie an die Bundesländer Niederösterreich, Steiermark und Salzburg. Der Name leitet sich vom Erzherzogtum Österreich ob der Enns ab, einem der habsburgischen Erblande.
