University of Zimbabwe
The University of Zimbabwe (UZ), is the first and largest university in Zimbabwe. It was founded through a special relationship with the University of London and it opened its doors to its first students in 1952. Faculties are located at the 180 hectare principal campus in the northern Harare suburb of Mount Pleasant. The College of Health Sciences is located at Parirenyatwa Hospital, Harare and was established under the auspices of the University of Birmingham in 1963.  English is the language of instruction.
