The University of Northern Iowa, in

1876, as the Iowa State
Normal School. It has colleges of Business Administration, Education, Humanities and Fine Arts, Natural Sciences, and Social and
Behavioral Sciences, and a graduate school. The Fall 2006 enrollment is 12,327, including 10,727 undergraduate students and 1600 graduate students. Ninety-two percent of its students are from the State of
Iowa, in the
United States.
