University of Houston

The University of Houston, formerly University of Houston–University Park, and often referred to as UH or U of H, is a doctoral degree-granting, research university  located in Houston, Texas. The University of Houston is the only doctoral degree-granting university and is the flagship institution with the largest enrollment in the University of Houston System—a state system of higher education that includes three other universities and two multi-institution teaching centers. University of Houston is  Texas' third-largest university by enrollment.
