Umeå IK is a prominent women's association football club based in the city of Umeå, Sweden. The club was established in 1917 and has 8 seasons in the Women's premier division (Damallsvenskan). Umeå IK has won five championship gold medals (2000, 2001, 2002, 2005 and 2006), and they have also won the UEFA Women's Cup twice, in 2003 and 2004, and were runners up in 2007.
