Ultra Vires

Ultra vires is a Latin phrase that literally means "beyond the power." Its inverse is called intra vires, meaning "within the power".

Ultra vires alla lettera oltre le forze è una espressione latina per indicare che il soggetto non può invocare una limitazione della propria responsabilità.Ad esempio nel diritto italiano l'erede risponde dei debiti ereditari senza limiti, a meno che ricorra all'istituto della eredità con beneficio di inventario.Ugualmente il socio di una società di persone  risponde, di regola illimitatamente delle obbligazioni sociali.
