U.S. Open (golf)
The United States Open Championship, commonly known as the U.S. Open, is the annual open golf tournament of the United States. It is the second of the four major championships in golf, and is on the official schedule of both the PGA Tour and the European Tour. It is staged by the United States Golf Association (USGA) in mid-June, scheduled so that, if there are no weather delays, the final round is played on the third Sunday, which is Father's Day.

US Open de golf
Le US Open de golf, ou simplement dénommé le US Open, est l'un des quatre tournois majeurs du golf professionnel masculin avec le (Masters, le British Open et le USPGA). Il est disputé annuellement sur un parcours de golf aux États-Unis sélectionné en rotation.

US Open i golf
US Open, United States Open Championship, är en av fyra majortävlingar i golf för herrar. Ansvarig för tävlingen är USGA och den spelades första gången 1895. Ett femtiotal golfklubbar har varit arrangör för US Open och USGA ställer höga krav på minutiös banskötsel i två-tre år innan klubben får stå som värd för tävlingen.

Lo U.S. Open è una tra le 4 competizione golfistiche più importanti al mondo. Insieme al Masters,al The Open Championship e al PGA championship fa parte dei majors.
Su questo torneo che si disputa sulla distanza di 74 buche sono stati realizzati anche dei film di grande rilievo, come Il piu bel gioco della mia vita che narra la storia del giovane Francis Ouimet che, nato da una famiglia contadina, nel 1913 da dilettante riuscì a vincere questo torneo, battendo anche un professionista come Harry Vardon (6 volte campione del British Open).
