A Uniform Resource Identifier (URI), is a compact string of characters used to identify or name a  resource. The main purpose of this identification is to enable interaction with representations of the resource over a network, typically the World Wide Web, using specific protocols. URIs are defined in schemes defining a specific syntax and associated protocols.

Il Canton Uri è un cantone della Svizzera centrale, e uno dei quattro Waldstätte (cantoni forestali). Uri è una regione alpina ricca di ghiacciai e alpeggi formata dal bacino del fiume Reuss, che scende dal Massiccio del San Gottardo e sbocca nel Lago dei Quattro Cantoni a Flüelen. Il tedesco è la lingua principale del cantone e la popolazione è di circa 35.000 abitanti.
