The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations' global development network, is the largest multilateral source of development assistance in the world. The UNDP is an executive board within the United Nations General Assembly. The UNDP Administrator is the third highest ranking member of the United Nations after the United Nations Secretary-General and Deputy Secretary-General.

Le Programme des Nations unies pour le développement (PNUD), ou United Nations Development Programme en anglais (UNDP), fait partie des programmes et fonds de l'ONU. Son rôle est d'aider les pays en développement en leur fournissant des conseils mais également en plaidant leurs causes pour l'octroi de dons. C'est ainsi que ce programme travaille en collaboration avec de nombreux autres programmes comme le mécanisme de coordination de huit agences des Nations Unies contre le SIDA Onusida, et d'autres organisations internationales (UPU, OMS, etc.).

Das Entwicklungsprogramm der Vereinten Nationen (, ) ist ein Exekutivausschuss innerhalb der UN-Generalversammlung. Der UNDP-Administrator ist das dritthöchste Amt innerhalb der Hierarchie der Vereinten Nationen (UN), unmittelbar nach dem Generalsekretär der Vereinten Nationen und seinem Stellvertreter. Der UNDP Exekutivausschuss besteht aus Repräsentanten aus 36 Ländern weltweit, die nach einem Rotationsprinzip eingesetzt werden. Das Projektbüro wurde 1995 als UNOPS (s.u.) als eigenständige Organisation ausgegliedert.

Rozwoju (ang. UNDP, United Nations Development Programme), agenda ONZ powstała w 1966, która tworzy globalną sieć na rzecz rozwoju.Do zadań UNDP należy udzielanie pomocy technicznej i finansowej krajom rozwijającym się przy opracowywaniu programów rozwoju. Współpracuje ze 166 państwami i 35 agencjami międzynarodowymi na rzecz rozwoju społecznego. Działalność UNDP finansowana jest ze środków własnych oraz funduszy rządów i organizacji pozarządowych.

Il Programma delle Nazioni Unite per lo Sviluppo (in inglese United Nations Development Program, ossia UNDP) è un'organizzazione internazionale sorta il 1 gennaio 1966, in seguito alla risoluzione dell'Assemblea Generale delle Nazioni Unite (ONU) del 22 novembre 1965, dalla fusione del Programma Ampliato di Assistenza Tecnica e del Fondo Speciale delle Nazioni Unite.
