UBP

In chemistry, heavy transuranic elements receive a permanent trivial name and symbol only after their synthesis has been confirmed. This has been a protracted and highly political process in some cases (see element naming controversy). In order to discuss newly synthesized and as-yet unsynthesized elements without ambiguity, the IUPAC assigns a temporary systematic name and symbol to such elements. The origin of this idea came from the successful development of regular rules for the naming of organic compounds containing carbon.

La dénomination systématique est la règle de dénomination des éléments chimiques nouvellement synthétisés ou n'ayant pas encore été synthétisés,leur attribuant un nom et un symbole temporaires. En chimie, un élément transuranien (éléments dont le nombre atomique est supérieur à 92) reçoit un nom vernaculaire et un symbole seulement après que sa synthèse a été confirmé. Dans certains cas, cette confirmation peut être longue et entrainée de nombreuses controverses (voir ). Afin de parler de ces éléments sans ambiguïté,l'Union internationale de chimie pure et appliquée (UICPA) utilises plusieurs règles pour assigner un nom et un symbole systématiques et temporaires pour chaqu'un de ces éléments. Chemische Elemente erhalten erst dann einen bleibenden Namen, wenn ihre Entdeckung bestätigt ist. Weil es über die Bestätigung in der Vergangenheit Kontroversen gab (siehe Elementnamensgebungskontroverse) hat die IUPAC ein Schema für provisorische Elementnamen herausgegeben.

Obok tzw. Informacji Wojskowej, odpowiedzialne za masowe krwawe represje na obywatelach w okresie stalinizmu. W terenie Ministerstwo reprezentowały podległe mu Urzędy Bezpieczeństwa Publicznego, dlatego potocznie te instytucje były określane skrótem UB.

W chemii stosuje się odgórnie ustalone przez IUPAC nazewnictwo pierwiastków. Jest ono o tyle wygodne, że można za jego pomocą nazwać nieodkryte dotąd pierwiastki o dużej liczbie atomowej.
