The Virgin Islands of the United States (commonly called the United States Virgin Islands, U.S. Virgin Islands or USVI) are a group of islands in the Caribbean that are an insular area of the United States. The islands are geographically part of the Virgin Islands archipelago and are located in the Leeward Islands of the Lesser Antilles.

Die Amerikanischen Jungferninseln (engl.: United States Virgin Islands) sind eine Inselgruppe der Kleinen Antillen in der Karibik, östlich von Puerto Rico gelegen. Sie besteht aus den drei Hauptinseln Saint Croix, Saint John und Saint Thomas. Erst 1996 kam Water Island hinzu, daneben gibt es noch zahlreiche kleinere Inseln. Die Inseln sind ein nichtinkorporiertes Außengebiet der Vereinigten Staaten.

Największe wyspy to: Saint Croix - 207 km², Saint Thomas - 83 km² i Saint John - 52 km².
