Turkish language

Turkish (, ) is a language spoken by 65–73 million people worldwide, predominantly in Turkey, with smaller communities of speakers in Cyprus, Bulgaria, Greece and Eastern Europe, as well as by several million immigrants in Western Europe, particularly Germany, making it the most commonly spoken of the Turkic languages.

Le turc (en turc ou ) appartient à la famille des langues turques, considérée souvent comme une sous-classe des langues altaïques, comme les langues mongoles d'où le terme aussi utilisé de langue turco-mongole. Bien que les langues d'autres pays turcophones (principalement des républiques de l'ancienne URSS) soient proches du turc (surtout l'azéri et le turkmène), il existe tout de même d'importantes différences entre ces langues, qu'elles soient d'ordre phonologique, grammatical ou lexical.

Die türkische Sprache (Eigenbezeichnungen: , ) oder kurz: Türkisch ist die Amtssprache in der Türkei und gehört zu den oghusischen Sprachen. Als Alternativbezeichnung ist auch aus der Turkologie „Türkei-Türkisch“ () bekannt.Türkisch enthält zahlreiche Mundarten, wobei heute die Istanbuler Mundart die türkische Hochsprache bildet. Weitere Mundarten innerhalb der Türkei werden in der Schwarzmeerregion sowie in Ostanatolien und an der Ägäis gesprochen.Alljährlich finden die Internationalen Türkisch Olympiaden statt.

Język turecki (Türkçe) to język aglutynacyjny należący do rodziny języków tureckich, do której zalicza się również między innymi języki: uzbecki, kazachski, kirgiski, tatarski, jakucki. Należy on do podgrupy oguzyjskiej języków tureckich, wraz z językiem azerskim, turkmeńskim oraz językami małych grup etnicznych.
