Trix is a German company that originally made Trix metal construction sets. In 1935 it began producing the electrically powered model trains that it became famous for, under the Trix Express label. Prior to the outbreak of World War II the Trix company produced a small range of fairly unrealistic AC powered three rail models running at 14 volts.

Das Unternehmen Trix (Firma: TRIX Modelleisenbahn GmbH & Co. KG) mit Sitz in Nürnberg ist ein bekannter, traditionsreicher Hersteller von Spielwaren, vorrangig Modelleisenbahnen im Maßstab 1:87, H0 (Trix Express, später auch Trix International) und im Maßstab 1:160, Spur N (Minitrix). Zur ehemaligen Produktpalette zählen auch Metallbaukästen, Morseapparate, Tonbandgeräte, Radioempfänger und eine Slot-Car-Bahn.

La marque TRIX est une société allemande de fabrication de jouets fondée en 1838 à Nuremberg par J. Haffner, rejoint plus tard par Andreas Fortner. Elle fabriquait essentiellement des jouets en tôle imprimée.
