Tokyo Mew Mew à la Mode has been published by TOKYOPOP. is a French phrase meaning "in the prevailing fashion". However, most Americans are familiar with this phrase meaning "with ice cream", which would fit Tokyo Mew Mew, as all the Mew Mews, and most of the aliens, are named after food items.
