Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department
The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department (警視庁 Keishichō) serves as the police force for the entire Tokyo metropolis. Founded in 1874, it is headed by a superintendent general, who is appointed by the National Public Safety Commission and approved by the prime minister.

Département de la Police Métropolitaine de Tokyo
Le Département de la Police Métropolitaine (DPM) sert de force de policière pour le Tokyo Métropolitain tout entier. Fondé en 1874, le DPM est dirigé par un Superintendant-Général, nommé par la Commission de la Sureté Publique Nationale. Cette nomination se doit d’obtenir l’approbation du Premier Ministre pour pouvoir être effective.

Tokion metropolin poliisilaitos (; ) on Tokion alueen turvallisuudesta huolehtiva poliisilaitos. Vuonna 1874 perustettua laitosta johtaa ylipoliisimestari , jonka nimittää Kansallinen julkisen turvallisuuden komissio ja hyväksyy Japanin pääministeri.
