Tientsin

(; Postal map spelling: Tientsin) is one of the four municipalities of China. As a municipality, Tianjin has provincial-level status and comes directly under the central government. Tianjin's urban area is the third largest in China, after Shanghai and Beijing. Tianjin's urban area is located along the Hai He River. Its ports, some distance away, are located on Bohai Gulf in the Pacific Ocean. Tianjin Municipality borders Hebei province to the north, south, and west; the municipality of Beijing is to the northwest, and Bohai Gulf to the east.

Tianjin (天津 ; hanyu pinyin : Tiānjīn ; pinyin du système postal : Tientsin) est la moins peuplée des quatre municipalités autonomes chinoises. Elle se trouve à environ cent cinquante kilomètres de Pékin, à l'embouchure du Hai He et à proximité de la mer de Bohai. C'est un port important. On y parle le jilu, un dialecte du mandarin. En 2004, la ville dépasse les six millions d'habitants et l'agglomération les dix millions.

Tianjin , auch Tientsin, ist eine wichtige Hafenstadt in der Volksrepublik China. Das gesamte Verwaltungsgebiet der Stadt hat eine Fläche von 11.943 Quadratkilometern. Das entspricht ungefähr der Bodenfläche von Oberösterreich und ist etwas kleiner als Schleswig-Holstein. Tianjin ist eine der vier Regierungsunmittelbaren Städte in China, das heißt direkt der Zentralregierung in Peking unterstellt und hat damit den selben Status wie eine Provinz.

Tientsin, o Tianjin, (Cinese: 天津; Pinyin: Tiānjīn) è una delle quattro municipalità della Repubblica Popolare Cinese. L'area metropolitana si estende su un'area di 11.920 km² ed ha una popolazione di 10.240.000 (2004) abitanti - che la rendono la quarta città della Cina per popolazione dopo Shanghai, Pechino e Guangzhou - dei quali, circa 5 milioni vivono nell'area metropolitana.
