Threadneedle Street
Threadneedle Street is a road in the City of London, leading from an intersection with Poultry, CornhillKing William Street and Lombard Street, to Bishopsgate.It is famous as the site of the Bank of England, often called 'the old lady of Threadneedle Street' and has been at the same location since 1734. Until 2004 the London Stock Exchange was situated on this street.The Baltic Exchange was founded in the Virginia and Baltick Coffee House in Threadneedle Street in 1744.
