Thrash Metal

Thrash metal is a subgenre of heavy metal music, one of the extreme metal subgenres that is characterised by its high speed and aggression.The origins of thrash metal are generally traced to the late 1970s and early 1980s, when a number of bands began incorporating the sound of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM), creating a new genre and developing into a separate movement from punk rock. This genre is much more aggressive compared to its relative, speed metal. There is often significant crossover from one metal category to another, and the influence of non-metal genres, including classical music and jazz, is not uncommon.

Le thrash metal est un sous-genre du heavy metal. Ses origines remontent à la toute fin des années 1970, lorsque certains groupes commencèrent à mélanger la vitesse du punk rock à des élément de NWOBHM. Mais c'est au début des années 1980 que Metallica popularisa le genre. Le thrash metal est notamment caractérisé par une musique rapide et violente. Le mot thrash signifie « battre, frapper » en anglais, à ne pas confondre avec trash, qui signifie « poubelle ».

Thrash Metal (englisch to thrash: dreschen/prügeln) entstand Anfang der 1980er Jahre als schnellere und extreme Spielart des Metal.Oftmals wird der Thrash Metal als eine Verschmelzung der Energie und Geschwindigkeit des Hardcore Punk und den Techniken des New Wave of British Heavy Metal bezeichnet. Der ursprüngliche Thrash Metal zeichnet sich vor allem durch schnelles und präzises Riffing aus. Oftmals wurde nur die offene E-Saite in Verbindung mit Powerchords verwendet. Thrash Metal wird allgemein als Ausgangspunkt für die extremen Metalstile, besonders Death Metal, angesehen.

Thrash metal (sporadycznie thrash) – odmiana metalu będąca połączeniem jego cech charakterystycznych i cech muzyki hardcore, mająca swój początek w latach 80. XX wieku. Fuzja tych dwóch gatunków dała w efekcie bardzo szybkie i brutalne kompozycje charakteryzujące się (początkowo) prostymi aranżacjami, agresywnym wokalem, dźwięcznymi solówkami oraz częstymi zmianami rytmu, jak i perkusji przełamującej rytm.

Il thrash metal è un sottogenere dell'heavy metal, originatosi nei primi anni '80 negli Stati Uniti d'America. La sua definizione deriva dal verbo to thrash (inglese per "battere, percuotere"). Ha ottenuto un certo successo soprattutto negli anni ottanta e agli inizi dei novanta. Inoltre ha influenzato alcuni stili venuti dopo come il death metal, black metal, crossover thrash ed altri relativamente più recenti, quali metalcore, groove metal e in parte il nu metal.
