The Football League
The Football League är en fotbollsliga i England som består av 72 klubbar fördelade på tre divisioner. Från början bestod ligan av tolv klubbar. Den bildades 1888 och blev då världens första fotbollsliga. 1992 bröt sig de 22 klubbarna i division ett ur ligan och bildade FA Premier League. FA Premier League och The Football League är dock ännu sammanbundna genom upp- och nedflyttningssystem.
