The Combination of Stellar Influences is an
astrological reference and research text first published in
1940 by the
German astrologer Reinhold Ebertin, derived largely from material in the Rulebook for Planetary Pictures by
Alfred Witte which was published in
1932 but was banned by the
Third Reich. The Combination of Stellar Influences is the primary text of the modern branch of
astrology known as
Cosmobiology, much of it derived from the research of Alfred Witte and the
Hamburg School of Astrology.The
German edition of The Combination of Stellar Influences is entitled Kombination der Gestirneinflusse and was first printed in Germany during
World War II, in
1940; the
English edition was revised as late as
1972. It remains a useful resource for learning and practicing Cosmobiologists, listing physical, physiological, and psychological manifestations correlating with the planetary combinations (or planetary pictures), used primarily in work with astrological midpoints.
