The Blitz (album)

The Blitz is heavy metal and hard rock band Krokus' eighth album. It became a gold album in the United States. While preparing to record it, Patrick Mahassen had been tapped to join the band on guitar, Mark Kohler having switched to bass. Mahassen did not join, and the album was recorded as a quartet; Tommy Keiser played bass on the subsequent tour.

The Blitz è l'ottavo album in studio della heavy metal band, Krokus, uscito il 5 giugno 1984 per l'Etichetta discografica Arista Records.La terza traccia "Boys Nite Out", è stata realizzata con la collaborazione di Bryan Adams e il suo collaboratore Jim Vallance. Inoltre Jimi Jamison, ex volcalist dei Survivor, partecipò come corista. L'album venne registrato da Bob Rock e Mike Frazer produttori di artisti come Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Kiss, Metallica, Aerosmith e AC/DC.
