The Acute

The Acute are an alternative Rock band from Edinburgh, Scotland who were formed in September 2004 by Stephen A. Cute (Guitar/Vocals), Ross Ramsay (Bass Guitar), and Douglas McDonald (Drums).The band played extensively in and around Edinburgh, and gained quite a large following in Scotland. This led to a feature in the NME's Radar section, which said: "Marrying the thunderous riffage of early Manics and Smashing Pumpkins to the new-wave melodies of Gary Numan, The Acute have a repuatation as one of the best live bands in the city [Edinbugh]"
