Thasos or Thassos is a Greek island in the northern Aegean Sea, close to the coast of Thrace and the plain of the river Nestos but geographically part of Macedonia. It is the northernmost Greek island, and 12th largest by area. Thasos is also the name of the largest town of the island (also known as Limenas Thasou, "Harbour of Thasos"), situated at the northern side, opposite the mainland and about from Keramoti.

Thasos oder Thassos ( [] ) ist eine Insel im Nordosten Griechenlands im Thrakischen Meer der nördlichen Ägäis, etwa acht Kilometer von der makedonisch-thrakischen Küste entfernt. Sie ist die nördlichste Insel des griechischen Archipels. In frühen Dichtungen und Beschreibungen wird die Insel auch Äria, Hethria, Chryssi, Hedonis, Odonis oder Akti genannt. Sie wird auch als „Perle der Ägäis“ bezeichnet.

Thasos (en grec ancien Θάσος) est une île montagneuse de l'archipel grec, à 8 km du continent thrace et à l'Ouest de l'île de Samothrace, où s'établit une colonie (éponyme) de Paros en 680 av. J.-C.

Thassos eller Thasos är en 379 km² stor ö som geografiskt tillhör de Norra egeiska öarna och administrativt Makedonien i norra Grekland. Thassos ligger 7 km söder om Makedoniens och Thrakiens kust, nära staden Kavala och floden Nestos mynning på det grekiska fastlandet. Från hamnen i Kavala kan man ta färja ut till Thassos.

Thasos (gr. Θάσος) - wyspa na północy Morza Egejskiego, w odległości 8 km od Tracji. Z powierzchnią 390 km² jest dziewiątą co do wielkości wyspą Grecji. Najwyższy jej szczyt to góra Ipsarion o wysokości 1204 m. n.p.m. Wokół głównej wyspy położne są trzy wysepki: Thasopoulo na północy, Kynira na wschodzie i Panaghia na południu. Całkowita liczba mieszkańców wynosi około 16000 (rok 2005). Główne miasto nazywa się tak jak wyspa, które bywa również nazywane Limenas, wcześniej głównym ośrodkiem był Theologos leżący w centrum wyspy.
