Texas Instruments ( NYSE: TXN), better known in the electronics industry (and popularly) as TI, is an American company based in Dallas, Texas, USA, renowned for developing and commercializing semiconductor and computer technology. TI is the No. 3 manufacturer of semiconductors worldwide after Intel and Samsung, and is the top supplier of chips for cellular handsets, as well as the No. 1 producer of digital signal processors (DSPs) and analog semiconductors . Other focus areas include chips for broadband modems, PC peripherals, digital consumer devices, telecommunication infrastructure, and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID).  As of 2006, the company was listed at number 167 on the Fortune 500.

Texas Instruments (ou plus couramment dans l'industrie électronique : TI) est une entreprise d'électronique basée à Dallas, renommée dans le domaine des composants électroniques passifs et des semi-conducteurs. Texas Instruments - znana też jako TI - amerykańska firma z siedzibą w Dallas w Teksasie, czołowy producent półprzewodników.Obecnie producent m.in. cyfrowych procesorów sygnałowych (DSP), przetworników cyfrowo-analogowych i analogowo-cyfrowych, czujników i kalkulatorów naukowych. Spółka publiczna notowana od 1 października 1953 na Giełdzie Nowojorskiej (NYSE).TI została założona w 1930 jako serwis geofizyczny zajmujący się poszukiwaniem złóż ropy naftowej za pomocą techniki fal dźwiękowych. W 1938 wydzielona została firma Geophysical Services, Inc., a firma nadrzędna przyjęła nazwę Coronado Corporation, po czym zakończyła działanie w 1945.
