Tardeo or Tardeo Road is a popular residential and commercial locality of South
Mumbai and its official name is Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Road (though hardly anyone knows the real name).Tardeo Road is one of the most important arterial road of the city of
Mumbai which leads suburban traffic further south to the heart of city's business district and it stretches right from
Haji Ali in the north to
Nana Chowk in the south. In the past there were many proposals to construct a flyover over the existing road to ease traffic congestion, but, they never materialised due to strong protests from resident associations and also due to design complexity over this long and winding road.
