Tarapacá Region

Tarapacá is Chile's northernmost administrative region, hence also known as I Región ("1st Region") in the standard north-to-south numbering of Chilean regions. It borders the Peruvian Tacna Region on the north, Bolivia's La Paz and Oruro departments on the east, the Antofagasta Region on the south and the Pacific Ocean on the west.
