Tangotango
In
Māori mythology, Hāpai (sometimes called Tangotango) was a celestial woman who fell in love with the great hero
Tāwhaki and came to earth to become his wife. After bearing him a daughter,
Arahuta, she returned to heaven. Tāwhaki and his brother set out on a great adventure to find her.

Tangotango
[Polynesian] A fairy of the heavenly race in Maori myth. When she heard of the handsome young god Tawhaki, she looked for him and found him one night while he was sleeping in the woods. She lay with him night after night until she became pregnant. Then she left and later had a daughter called Arahuta.
