Taito Corporation

Taito Trading Company was established in Manchuria by a Russian Jewish businessman named Michael Kogan. Written in kanji as 太東 (pronounced "TIE-toe"), it is a kanji acronym of either and or (The latter is plausible because founder Michael Kogan was Jewish). Taito also imports and distributes American coin-op video games in Japan, as well as their own games all around the world. As of 2005, Taito Corporation is part of Square Enix.
