Tabaldak is the androgynous creator among the Abenaki an Algonquian people of northeastern North America. From the dust of his hand Tabaldak created the brothers Gluskab and Malsumis. They both had the power to create a good world, but only Gluskab chose this path; his brother still seeks evil.
