Transfer factors are immune messenger molecules found in all higher animals. They are found in
white blood cells,
colostrum, and eggs. They are often given credit for the perpetuation of species by transferring
immunity against many pathogens that would otherwise kill the offspring. Transfer factors are harvested primarily from
bovine colostrum and eggs. Transfer factors are non-species specific.
Antibodies which are often confused with transfer factors are very species specific.
