Target Corporation ( NYSE: TGT), headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is the fifth largest retailer by sales revenue in the United States behind Wal-Mart, The Home Depot, Kroger and Costco. The company is ranked 33rd on the 2007 Fortune 500. It sells more gift cards than any other U.S. retailer and is the fifth largest U.S. seller of music. Target operates its retailing business exclusively in the United States.

The Ticket Granting Ticket is a small, encrypted identification file with a limited validity period. After authentication this file is granted to an user for his data traffic protection by the KDC subsystem of authentication services like  Kerberos. The TGT file contains the session key, its expiration date, and user's IP address which bewares the user from a man-in-the-middle attack.
