Le Traitement automatique du langage naturel (abr. TALN) ou Traitement automatique des langues (abr. TAL) est une discipline à la frontière de la linguistique, de l'informatique et de l'intelligence artificielle, qui concerne l'application de programmes et techniques informatiques à tous les aspects du langage humain. Parmi les applications les plus connues, on peut citer :la traduction automatique (historiquement la première application, dès les années 1950) ;la correction orthographique ;la recherche d'information et la fouille de textes ; le résumé automatique de texte ;la génération automatique de textes ;la synthèse de la parole ;la reconnaissance vocale ;la détection de registre ;la classification et la catégorisation de documents ;la reconnaissance de l'écriture manuscrite ; les agents conversationnels.

Tael ist die Bezeichnung für eine heute nicht mehr gebräuchliche chinesische Währungseinheit. Das Tael oder Liang (兩; Pinyin: Liǎng) war eine Gewichtseinheit für Edelmetall, die je nach Zeit und Ort starken Schwankungen unterworfen war. Nach 1868 rechnete man in China: 1 Tael = 10 Chin (Mace) = 100 Fen (deutsch: Kandarihn, englisch: Candareen) = 1000 Li = 37,78 g, in Shanghai = 34,246 g, im Außenhandel auf Basis des Peso 33,387 g.

Ein Tal ist eine durch das Wechselspiel von Erosion und Denudation entstandene, für gewöhnlich langgestreckte, nach mindestens einer Seite offene Hohlform. Die linienhafte Erosion erfolgt durch einen Fluss, die flächenhafte Denudation durch Massenschwerebewegungen. Die tiefste Linie wird je nach Form Tiefenlinie, Talsohle oder Talboden genannt. Diese weist ein monotones (gleichsinniges) Gefälle auf. Bei abweichender Form oder anderen Entstehungsprozessen (z. B. bei  Glazialerosion) spricht man nicht von einem Tal sondern von Talung oder talähnlichen Formen (z. B.  Glaziale Rinne).

Tal (Tl, łac. thallium) - pierwiastek chemiczny, metal występujący w bloku p układu okresowego. Nazwa pochodzi od greckiego określenia oznaczającego zieloną gałązkę.Tal występuje w skorupie ziemskiej w ilości 0,6 ppm. Został odkryty w 1861 r. przez Sir Williama Crookesa.
