Syncretic politics
Syncretic politics or spectral-syncretic is any of a number of types of politics outside of the conventional left-right political spectrum. Syncretic politics rejects association with left-wing, right-wing, and centrist politics. This term is especially used by some scholars to describe the political nature of fascism. Other ideologies and politicians have rejected the left-right political spectrum, including such prominent figures as Ronald Reagan. Syncretic politics has also been used to describe contemporary Third Way politics of political figures such as Bill Clinton and Tony Blair. Green political figures have described Green politics as being "neither left nor right".
