Syddanmark

Region Syddanmark (English: Region South Denmark) is an administrative region of Denmark established on January 1, 2007 as part of the 2007 Danish Municipal Reform, which replaced the traditional counties ("amter") with five larger regions. At the same time, smaller municipalities were merged into larger units, cutting the number of municipalities from 271 to 98. The reform was implemented in Denmark on January 1, 2007.

Die Region Syddanmark in Dänemark (deutsch: Region Süddänemark) umfasst den Süden Jütlands und die Insel Fünen. Hauptstadt ist Vejle. Die Regionen lösten 2007 nach einer Neugliederung die dänischen Amtsbezirke (Amtskommuner) als Verwaltungsbezirke ab.Die Region Süddänemark umfasst die früheren Bezirke Fyns Amt, Ribe Amt und Sønderjyllands Amt, und die früheren Gemeinden Børkop, Egtved, Fredericia, Give, Jelling, Kolding, Lunderskov, Vamdrup sowie die Stadt Vejle, die in Vejle Amt lag.

Syddanmark (Południowa Dania) - jeden z pięciu duńskich regionów administracyjnych utworzonych 1 stycznia 2007 na mocy reformy administracyjnej. W jego skład weszły dotychczasowe okręgi Fyns Amt, Ribe Amt i Sønderjyllands Amt, a także część okręgu Vejle Amt. Powierzchnia regionu wynosi 12 191 km2, zaś ludność ok. 1,19 mln mieszkańców (2007). Największym miastem jest Odense, jednak władze regionu rezydują w Vejle. Region dzieli się na 22 gminy.

La regione di Syddanmark (in danese: Region Syddanmark) è una suddivisione amministrativa della Danimarca attiva dal 1 gennaio 2007.La regione è stata costituita in seguito alla riforma municipale danese che prevede che le vecchie contee vengano rimpiazzate da cinque regioni. Nel contempo i comuni di dimensioni minori sono stati uniti per costituirne un numero minore, portando il numero di comuni da 270 attuali a 98. La riforma è entrata in vigore il 1 gennaio 2007.
