Sura 19

Sura Maryam (Mary) is the 19th sura (English: Chapter) of the Qur'an and is a Makkan sura with 98 ayat (English:Verses). It is named after Maryām the Semitic name for Mary, Mother of Jesus (Isa). This sura begins with two narrations of 'miraculous births' of God's Elect:  Yahya (John the Baptist) and Isa (Jesus). The two readings (from the Bible and the Qur'an) of this episode are complementary and serve to illuminate deeper spiritual meaning of Yahya's advent and spiritual mission. This is a very important Sura in terms of providing a mutual, and supportive, reference to earlier revelations in the monotheist scripture, known as The Book in the Qur'an. A further matter of interest is that this sura numerically matches — i.e., Sura 1 is paired with last Sura 114, 2 with 113, etc. — Sura 96,  Al-Alaq, which begins with a short discourse on the 'miracle of life.'

Soera Maria is een soera van de Koran.De soera is vernoemd naar Maryam, moeder van Isa. Behalve die van Maryam komen er ook geschiedenissen voor van o.a. Isa, Zakarija, Jahja en Ibrahim voor.

Mekke döneminde inmiştir. 98 ayettir. Bazı tefsir bilginlerine göre 58 ve 71. ayetler Medine döneminde inmiştir. Sure, Meryem’in, oğlu İsa’yı nasıl dünyaya getirdiğini anlattığı için bu adla anılmıştır. Surede başlıca, tevhit inancını yerleştirmek amacıyla bazı peygamberlerin kıssaları ve kıyamet sahneleri konu edilmektedir.

وتبدأ السورة بقصة سيدنا زكريا حين دعا الله دعاء خفى اى من القلب بأن يجعل له ولى او خلف ,فأستجاب له الله ووهب له سيدنا يحيى ,ثم تأتى قصة السيدة مريم العذراء حين تمثل لها ملك فى صورة بشر وبشرها بسيدنا عيسى ,واستغراب قومها من هذا بعد ذلك ثم تشير اليه ثم يتحدث باذن الله ليقول ويأكد ان امه السيدة مريم اشرف نساء الارض,وأوصاه الله بالصلاة والزكاة والبر بوالدتة.ثم بعد ذلك يذكر قصة سيدنا ابراهيم مع ابية وكيف كان يدعو ابية ليكف عن عبادة الاصنام ,ثم يذكر النبياء اللذين انعم عليهم الله وكيف خلف من بعدهم خلف سيء نسوا الصلاة واتبعوا الشهوات ,ثم وفى نهاية السورة الكريمة تقريبا يأتى ربنا ليستنكر كيف قال اللذين اشركوا انه اتخذ ولدا سبحانه,حيث لا ينبغى عليه هذا. سورة مريم سورة مكية ، آياتها 98
