Sun Records
Sun Records war ein US-amerikanisches Independent-Plattenlabel, das 1952 von dem Hobbymusiker Sam Phillips in Memphis (Tennessee) gegründet wurde. Das Label war trendsetzend für die Entwicklung des Rhythm and Blues-, der Rockabilly- und der Rock ’n’ Roll-Musik.

Sun Records
Sun records est un label musical fondé par Sam Phillips au 706 Union Avenue à Memphis dans le Tennessee aux États-Unis en 1950. Il est spécialisé au début dans l'enregistrement amateur pour les particuliers (mariages, cérémonies, ...), puis se tourne vers les musiciens.

Sun Records
Sun Records – amerykańska wytwórnia płytowa założona w Memphis przez Sama Phillipsa 27 marca 1952 roku.
Przełomowym momentem w działalności Sun był rok 1954, kiedy to młody kierowca ciężarówki Elvis Presley nagrał tu swój pierwszy singel That's All Right, Mama. Poza Elvisem, Sam Phillips wykreował też wiele innych późniejszych gwiazd jak: Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis czy Johnny Cash.
Wytwórnia ta miała wielki wpływ na powstanie rock and rolla, który wywodzi się m.in. z muzyki wydawanej tu jako rockabilly.
