Sturmgewehr

Sturmgewehr 44 (StG44) was an assault rifle developed in Nazi Germany during World War II and was the first of its kind to see major deployment. It is also known by the designations Maschinenpistole 43, Maschinenpistole 44 (MP43 and MP44, respectively) which denotes earlier versions of the same weapon.

Le Sturmgewehr 44 ou Stg 44 fut le premier fusil d'assaut, inventé par les Allemands en 1942. Les armes d'épaule individuelles utilisées par les fantassins de 1939 à 1945 étaient soit des pistolets-mitrailleurs soit des fusils. Le StG 44 combinait les avantages de ces deux types d'arme : il était capable de tirer en rafale (avec une courte portée) ou au coup par coup (à longue portée), ce qui faisait de lui le premier fusil d'assaut.

Sturmgewehr ist eine Bezeichnung für relativ leichte und kompakte Mehrzweck-Militärgewehre. Es handelt sich dabei in der Regel um halb- und vollautomatisch repetierende Militärgewehre, in kleineren (4,5 mm) bis mittleren (7,62 mm) Kalibern. Diese Art Gewehre sind bei den meisten Streitkräften als Standardbewaffnung des  Infanteriesoldaten eingeführt.

thumb Stg-44 (Sturmgewehr-44) — немецкая штурмовая винтовка образца 1943/44 г. (конструкция Хуго Шмайссера). Должна была заменить устаревшее оружие Вермахта Karabiner 98k и MP-40. Работает по принципу отвода пороховых газов через поперечное отверстие в стенке ствола. Запирание канала ствола производится перекосом затвора в вертикальной плоскости. Перекашивание затвора при запирании и отпирании осуществляется взаимодействием соответствующих наклонных плоскостей на затворе и затворной раме.
