Stratovarius

Stratovarius are a Finnish power metal band, who formed in 1984 and are still active today. Although Germany's Helloween are considered the earliest pioneers of the genre, Stratovarius are often regarded as making the cross from classic power metal to keyboard heavy modern power metal, influencing numerous bands to emerge during the 1990's.

Stratovarius est un groupe finlandais de power/speed metal mélodique fondé en 1984 à Helsinki par le bassiste John Vihervä, le batteur et chanteur Tuomo Lassila, et le guitariste Staffan Stråhlman. Le nom est une contraction entre Stratocaster, qui est un modèle de guitare, et Stradivarius, qui est le nom des violons fabriqués par le luthier du même nom. À noter qu'un morceau du célèbre groupe Kraftwerk s'intitule également Stratovarius (2 piste de leur premier album).

Stratovarius ist eine Power-Metal-Band aus Finnland. Der Bandname ist eine Mischung aus dem berühmten Geigenbauer Antonio Stradivari und dem Elektrogitarrenmodell Stratocaster. Er symbolisiert die Mischung von Klassik und Metal, wie man sie in vielen Songs von Stratovarius vorfindet.

Stratovarius -  fińska grupa heavymetalowa tworząca tzw. metal symfoniczny związana ze stylami power metal, metal progresywny i skandynawski metal. Założona w 1984 ciągle koncertuje z nagrywa w początkach XXI wieku. Szczególnie wielką popularność zdobyła w Japonii. Muzyka grupy charakteryzuje się melodyjnością i ostrością. Bardzo "barokowe" brzmienie gitary i śpiew falsetem jest najłatwiej zauważalną cechą muzyki grupy.

Gli Stratovarius sono un gruppo power metal finlandese, fondato ad Helsinki nel 1984 dal batterista e cantante Tuomo Lassila, dal chitarrista Staffan Stråhlman e dal bassista John Vihervä.La loro grande produzione musicale, 15 album e una miriade di singoli, è sempre stata di altissimo livello. Nel 1997 con Visions, approfittando del filone power metal che tornava di moda, cavalcarono l'onda e, grazie ai loro pezzi molto veloci e tecnici, divennero uno dei gruppi più famosi al mondo nel loro genere.
