Star Wars: Clone Wars

Star Wars: Clone Wars is an American animated television series set in the Star Wars galaxy. The series chronicles the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic under Chancellor Palpatine, and the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS) under Count Dooku. Chronologically, the series takes place during the three-year time period between the films Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. The original television series was produced by Cartoon Network Studios, and aired in 25 chapters from 2003 to 2005. A 3D CGI series called Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be set in the same time period, will be produced by Lucasfilm Animation and debut in 2008.

Clone Wars ist eine US-amerikanische Computeranimationsserie, die im Star Wars-Universum von George Lucas spielt. Sinn dieser Serie besteht darin, dem Zuschauer zu erklären, was zwischen Star Wars: Episode II – Angriff der Klonkrieger und Star Wars: Episode III – Die Rache der Sith genau geschehen ist. Es gibt 3 Staffeln, die sich in Anzahl und Dauer der Folgen unterscheiden.

Star Wars: Clone Wars è una serie televisiva d'animazione statunitense realizzata dal russo Genndy Tartakovsky su esplicita richiesta di George Lucas.Ambientata durante le guerre dei cloni e collocata cronologicamente tra l' L'attacco dei cloni e La vendetta dei Sith, è composta da da tre stagioni, comprendenti in totale 25 episodi: I primi venti episodi sono di tre minuti ognuno (e compongono le prime due stagioni), i rimanenti cinque episodi invece di dodici minuti (che fanno parte della terza stagione).

Star Wars: Clone Wars is een Amerikaanse animatieserie die zich afspeelt in het Star Wars-universum ten tijde van de Kloonoorlogen (Clone Wars) tussen de Galactische Republiek en de Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS) onder leiding van Graaf Dooku. De serie speelt zich dus af tussen de films Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) en Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)en is ook uitgezonden in Nederland met Nederlandse stemmen. De originele reeks afleveringen bestond uit 20 korte afleveringen van ongeveer 3 minuten voor Seizoenen 1 en 2 ( later genoemd Volume 1) later kwamen daar 5 nieuwe afleveringen van ongeveer 12 minuten bij voor seizoen 3 ( later genoemd Volume 2).
