Standard Mandarin

Standard Mandarin, also known as Modern Standard Chinese, is the official modern Chinese spoken language used by the People's Republic of China, the Republic of China (Taiwan), and is one of the four official languages of Singapore.The phonology of Standard Mandarin is based on the Beijing dialect, which in turn belongs to Mandarin, a large and diverse group of Chinese dialects spoken across northern and southwestern China. The vocabulary is largely drawn from this group of dialects. The grammar of Standard Mandarin is standardized to the body of modern literary works written in Vernacular Chinese, which in practice follows the same tradition of the Mandarin group of dialects with some notable exceptions. As a result, Standard Mandarin itself is usually just called "Mandarin" in non-academic, everyday usage. However, linguists use "Mandarin" to refer to the entire group of dialects. This convention will be adopted by the rest of this article.

Le mandarin standard, ( « langue commune », ou « langue des Hàn », ethnie dominante en Chine), est la langue officielle en République populaire de Chine, à Taiwan et à Singapour. A ce titre, il a fait l'objet de codification (prononciation, grammaire) et est la langue parlée généralement enseignée. Il ne doit pas être confondu avec le mandarin lui-même (/官话 Guānhuà (« langue des officiels ») ou /北方話 Běifānghuà (« parlés du Nord »), qui est la langue parlée dans le nord, le centre et le sud-est de la Chine continentale.

Hochchinesisch (auch Mandarin genannt) ist die offizielle Sprache in der Volksrepublik China, Republik China (Taiwan) und Singapur, und wird von über 880 Millionen Menschen auf dem Festland und auf Taiwan gesprochen. Es ist damit die weltweit meistgesprochene Muttersprache. Dies ist zu einem großen Teil das Ergebnis von Anstrengungen sowohl der Regierung auf dem Festland als auch der Regierung in Taiwan, Hochchinesisch als Standardsprache des Chinesischen durchzusetzen.

Standardowy język mandaryński, nazywany często językiem mandaryńskim lub standardowym językiem chińskim jest oficjalnym standardem mówionego języka chińskiego, używanym jako język urzędowy w Chińskiej Republice Ludowej, Republice Chińskiej, jednym z czterech oficjalnych języków Singapuru, a także jednym z sześciu oficjalnych języków Organizacji Narodów Zjednoczonych. Faktycznie jest tylko jednym z języków mandaryńskich. Oparty jest, ale nie tożsamy, na dialekcie pekińskim. W poszczególnych państwach język ten nosi różne nazwy: w ChRL jest nazywany putonghua (chiń. trad. 普通話, uproszcz. 普通话, pinyin: pǔtōnghuà - "mowa powszechna"), na Tajwanie - guoyu (chin. trad. 國語, uproszcz. 国语, pinyin: guóyǔ - "język państwowy"), w Singapurze - huayu (chiń. trad. 華語, uproszcz. 华语, huáyǔ - "język chiński").
