St John's, Newfoundland

St. John's (IPA: /seɪnt 'dʒɔnz/) is the provincial capital of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, making it the seat of the provincial Crown; at a 2006 census population 100,646 (metropolitan population 181,113), it is the largest city in that province, and the oldest English-founded city in North America. St. John's is a sister city with Waterford, Ireland.
