St. Clair County, Michigan

St. Clair County is a county in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the population was 164,235. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, it forms part of the Metro Detroit area, although residents of the area may disagree. The county seat is Port Huron⁶. The county was created 10 September 1820 and its government was organized in 1821.
