South Park

South Park is an Emmy award-winning American animated television comedy series about four third/fourth-grade school boys who live in the small, backward mountain town of South Park, Colorado. The series was created and is written by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, and has been distributed and aired by Comedy Central since 1997. It is well-known for its handling of current events and its pop-culture parody.

La série met en scène les aventures de quatre enfants d'école primaire, âgés de huit-neuf ans, vivant à South Park, une petite ville du Colorado, peuplée de 4392 habitants comme il est sous-entendu dans l'épisode Chef pète les plombs. Des phénomènes surnaturels ou des évènements politiques motivent un grand nombre de leurs aventures, qui constituent souvent une peinture critique et satirique de la société américaine. La majorité des épisodes se termine par une morale introduite par la phrase : « J'ai appris un truc aujourd'hui » ou proche.

Sie läuft seit 1997 auf dem US-Kabelsender Comedy Central (mittlerweile auch auf mehreren Sendern weltweit) und 11 Staffeln wurden bereits produziert. In Deutschland wurde die Serie von 1999 bis 2006 auf RTL, von 2003 bis 2005 auf VIVA, seit 2006 auf MTV sowie seit 2008 auf Comedy Central ausgestrahlt.

è una serie televisiva satirico/demenziale statunitense a cartoni animati. Creata e doppiata da Matt Stone e Trey Parker, viene distribuita e trasmessa negli Stati Uniti da Comedy Central. Trasmessa per la prima volta nel 1997, la serie è giunta alla sua undicesima stagione.South Park narra le avventure di Stan, Kyle, Eric e Kenny, quattro ragazzi che frequentano la scuola elementare (inizialmente la terza classe e, a partire dalla quarta serie, la quarta) e vivono nella piccola città di South Park, Colorado. In principio il cartone era realizzato utilizzando la tecnica della stop motion cutout animation, dove i fotogrammi vengono realizzati incollando pezzi di cartone direttamente sullo sfondo. Successivamente questa tecnica è stata rimpiazzata dall'animazione al computer.
